Soliberated Solar, LLC is a small cooperative of experienced solar PV installers and designers with several years of industry experience. Our goal is to provide industry-leading equipment and quality support to those who have the desire to do the job right the first time. Our solar professionals are all NABCEP certified and have experience with the products we offer.
We founded our company on the principle of self-reliance and freedom from restraints. We're dedicated to help property owners liberate themselves from the limitations of the power company and give installers the ability to start their own business instead of shackling themselves to a bigger firm just to get in the game.
Beyond that, we wanted to build a company that mirrored our personal values: accountability, independence and high value for our stakeholders. We have fun while taking business seriously. We take pride in delivering exceptional products and services and seeing our customers liberate themselves through solar.
Our bottom line: We started this company because we wanted to sell solar the way it should be sold – with an emphasis on quality, integrity and efficiency. We believe in doing things right the first time, and we will never sell you something you don't need.
Brad Ritter graduated from San Juan College in Farmington, NM in 2009 with a degree in Renewable Energy Technology specializing in Photovoltaic System Design and Installation (PSDI). In 2010, Brad became a NABCEP certified PV Installation Professional after passing their rigorous exam. This places him in an exclusive group of dedicated professionals in the rapidly expanding solar industry. He has experience installing systems ranging in size from 2kW to 2.3MW in several states. His experience in the field as an installer and quality control manager, time spent as a technical advisor in the solar wholesale industry, and relationships within the industry gives Brad a unique perspective of the solar equipment we sell.
When he isn't helping others achieve their solar dreams, Brad can be found on the many mountain bike trails and trout streams in beautiful Colorado. If he happens to be stuck inside for any amount of time, he takes advantage of this travesty by listening to a variety of great music (his tastes have been frequently questioned) and cooking everything from scratch.
Caitlin Ewing graduated from Cornell College where she studied entrepreneurship and emerging markets. She has worked on renewable energy projects in Central America and the South Pacific, and with clean tech entrepreneurs in Nepal, India and Ecuador. Before Soliberated Solar, her consulting practice was dedicated to helping startups and small businesses with brand development, strategic planning and execution.
Now free from the corporate lifestyle, she spends her liberated minutes training to be a ninja, questioning Brad's music choices (seriously, the 70s are over), rock climbing, managing a steady stream of foster dogs, jumping at any excuse for a road trip and camping as much as humanly possible.
